What are supporter-hosted events and how do I set them up?

Anyone can create an event on behalf of the charity. These are called supporter-hosted events. Proceeds of the event go towards the charity that the individual selects it to benefit. Create a supporter-hosted event by clicking Start Event on your individual homepage and assigning a charity for the proceeds to benefit. The event creator can invite leaders to to help manage the event. How do I create an event?

Examples of supporter-hosted events:

• Running a race for charity
• Hosting a shower with proceeds to a charity instead of gifts
• Retirement party with gifts going to a charity
