Refunding a transaction

For Donors

If you made a payment (donation, ticket purchase, or auction bid) and believe the transaction needs to be refunded, please send the Cherryfish Support team (contact@cherryfish.com) an email with the following:

  • Date of the transaction
  • Amount
  • Type of transaction (donation, ticket purchase, or auction bid)
  • Nonprofit, event, or fundraiser name
  • Nonprofit, event, or fundraiser URL

Your refund request will be processed as quickly as possible, occasionally requiring the approval from nonprofit administrators.  Not all transaction and processing fees may be refundable. 


For Nonprofit Admins

If you know of a payment (donation, ticket purchase, or auction bid) and believe the transaction needs to be refunded, please send the Cherryfish Support team (contact@cherryfish.com) an email with the following:

  • Date of the transaction
  • Amount
  • Type of transaction (donation, ticket purchase, or auction bid)
  • Nonprofit, event, or fundraiser name
  • Nonprofit, event, or fundraiser URL

 Your refund request will be processed as quickly as possible, occasionally requiring input from the donor.  Not all transaction and processing fees may be refundable.
